Educational Opportunities

Vítáme Vás Farm School has a variety of educational opportunities to meet the needs of your visiting group. We are open to many different kinds of experiences - listed here are just a few examples of the options you could choose from. Don't hesitate to reach out to us to create an opportunity that works for your group.

Half-Day (3-4 hour) Visit

  • Visit the farm in the morning to the early afternoon

  • Participate in a tour that involves seeing vegetables, fruits, native prairie grass, goats, and llamas

  • Learn about Regenerative Agricultural practices and how these practices can help to bring about healthy soil, water, and ecological diversity

  • Discuss ways in which people can work together to live a life closer to the land and enjoy the food they grow

  • Taste delicious products made with farm products

  • Suggested Ages: Elementary School to Adults

  • Cost: $15 per participant

Full-Day (5-7 hour) Visit

  • Visit the farm in the morning to late afternoon

  • Participate in a tour that involves seeing vegetables, fruits, native prairie grass, goats, and llamas

  • Learn about Regenerative Agricultural practices and how these practices can help to bring about healthy soil, water, and ecological diversity

  • Discuss ways in which people can work together to live a life closer to the land and enjoy the food they grow

  • Taste delicious products made with farm products

  • Engage in a work project to "get your hands dirty" and learn how manual labor can be enjoyable and interesting

  • Suggested Ages: Elementary School to Adults

  • Cost: $25 per participant

Two-Day Visit

  • Visit the farm in the morning, stay overnight, and leave late afternoon the next day

  • Participate in a tour that involves seeing vegetables, fruits, native prairie grass, goats, and llamas

  • Learn about Regenerative Agricultural practices and how these practices can help to bring about healthy soil, water, and ecological diversity

  • Discuss ways in which people can work together to live a life closer to the land

  • Taste delicious products made with farm products

  • Engage in a work project to "get your hands dirty" and learn how manual labor can be enjoyable and interesting

  • Camping, with a discussion exploring the ways in which working together and living on a farm can lead to formative experiences and improved individual, ecological, and community health

  • Suggested Ages: Middle School to Adults

  • Cost: $50 per participant

Three-Day Visit

  •  Visit the farm in the morning, stay overnight, and leave late afternoon two days later

  • Participate in a tour that involves seeing vegetables, fruits, native prairie grass, goats, and llamas

  • Learn about Regenerative Agricultural practices and how these practices can help to bring about healthy soil, water, and ecological diversity

  • Discuss ways in which people can work together to live a life closer to the land

  • Taste delicious products made with farm products

  • Engage in an in-depth work project to "get your hands dirty" and learn how manual labor can be enjoyable and interesting

  • Camping, with a discussion exploring the ways in which working together and living on a farm can lead to formative experiences and improved individual, ecological, and community health

  • Participate in an off-farm activity to enjoy the natural beauty of the driftless region of southeastern Minnesota

  • Suggested Ages: High School to Adults

  • Cost: $80 per participant
