We're becoming Disconnected.
We've forgotten...

In our rush to make everything convenient we we have lost some wisdom that keeps us connected and healthy. We are working together to remember and learn.

Hospitality

We've forgotten how to welcome the stranger

We try to welcome all visitors as our brothers and sisters as they are truly Christ in disguise.

“We cannot love God unless we love each other, and to love we must know each other. We know Him in the breaking of bread, and we know each other in the breaking of bread, and we are not alone anymore. Heaven is a banquet and life is a banquet, too, even with a crust, where there is companionship.” - Dorothy Day

Regenerative Agriculture

We've forgotten how important locally grown organic food is.

Where and how our food is grown matters. Eating is a moral act. Through regenerative agriculture we seek to heal the soil and grow food that is nutrient dense and delicious while at the same time increasing biodiversity

Natural Education

We've forgotten how to learn from the land and nature.

The classroom isn't the only place to learn. Kids need to learn how food is grown, how it is harvested, and how it is made into healthy healing sustenance. This is best done by getting their hands dirty.

Healthy Fermented Foods

We've forgotten how to choose healing and delicious foods

Food should be medicine, but instead today we have been enticed into eating foods that are not good for us. This food has become so convenient it can seem impossible to choose healthy food sometimes. We believe that healthy and fermented foods can taste delicious and help us all to mare easily choose foods that heal our bodies and help us to grow.

Working Together

We've forgotten the value of working together with our hands.

We live and work in community. We are intergenerational and strive to welcome anyone to join us in this quest to make the work a better place. Some people live and work with us for a few days, others a summer, and even others to the end of their life. We believe that living communally is one of the best decisions we ever made and invite others to consider this as well.

Are you interested in joining us as a community member or intern? Reach out today to connect with us!
